Please review our policies before booking your appointment.
General Terms
- • Clients should remove all personal belongings, money, and other significant items from their vehicle prior to their appointment.
- • CarPlay Mobile Detailing will not accept any liability for any loss or damage to any personal property including the vehicle being serviced, any belongings contained inside of the vehicle, or to the location of service.
- • All vehicles are cleaned at the customer's own risk and must be able to withstand normal cleaning processes.
- • CarPlay Mobile Detailing does not accept liability for discharged batteries during or after the service has been completed. Please inspect your vehicle after the service is rendered to assure all interior lights, headlights, or running lights have been turned off.
- • Our detailing times are an estimate only. Each vehicle is different and may require more time than the initial estimate, based on the condition of the vehicle.
- • We reserve the right to take debit or credit card details to secure the booking. Debit/Credit cards shall be processed by Square.com.
- • We reserve the right to alter or move a booking in line with staffing levels and/or weather conditions and/or machinery or equipment failure.
- • CarPlay Mobile Detailing reserves the right to refuse or deny customer demands above and beyond the booked detailing.
- • CarPlay Mobile Detailing will not tolerate any verbal or physical abuse towards any of its staff under any circumstances and will take the relevant actions should any such behaviors be encountered.
Pricing Terms & Conditions
- • We have a minimum service charge that varies by location.
- • Our prices are based on package type, location, type of car, and condition of the vehicle.
- • CarPlay Mobile Detailing reserves the right to charge each vehicle according to its condition, the type of vehicle, and the client's location.
- • CarPlay Mobile Detailing reserves the right to amend any price during the detailing should it differ from the original estimate.
- • A minimum $35 surcharge will be applied to all jobs that involve excessive pet hair, and $60 for bodily fluid.
Communications
- • CarPlay Mobile Detailing may call you directly to schedule your service or conduct a customer satisfaction survey. In the event of a canceled request, we may call you to inquire about your reasons for canceling.
- • All inbound and outbound customer service calls may be recorded for quality assurance.
- • We may ask you where you heard about CarPlay Mobile Detailing in order to gauge our marketing strategies.
- • We may conduct customer satisfaction surveys.
- • We must have permission to hold a debit or credit card to secure a regular booking and we will charge the card after each visit.
Cancellation Terms & Conditions
- • We require 48 hours notice from the start of the arrival window to cancel any booking/detailing service.
- • Failure to provide 48 hours advance notice of cancellation will result in a minimum charge of $50.
- • Same day appointments that are canceled will incur a charge of 25% of the service cost.
- • CarPlay Mobile Detailing reserves the right to take full payment if a booking is canceled on the day without prior agreement.
- • CarPlay Mobile Detailing reserves the right to alter or amend a booking time/date without penalty but wherever possible will let the customer know.
- • CarPlay Mobile Detailing reserves the right to alter a booking or move a booking in accordance to its staff levels, weather conditions, and/or equipment failure without penalty to the company.
- • Failure to be present at the time and location of the ordered service will result in the full value of the service being charged.
Service Guarantee
- • If there is probable and clear cause that the service technician did not fulfill the package as ordered or there is clear evidence of poor craftsmanship, we will at our cost refund or redo the uncompleted or unsatisfactory portion of the service.
- • Cleaning or repairing the vehicle personally or professionally after the initial service without authorization from CarPlay Mobile Detailing voids our Service Guarantee. Redos, refunds, or reimbursements will not be made after any unauthorized cleaning or repairs.
- • Refusing a redo appointment for the unsatisfactory portion of your service limits any refunds to 20% of the value of your service.
- • Failure to disclose at the time of booking any conditional issues that involve heavy stains, foul odors, human or animal biological waste, mold, mildew, chemical spills, chemical overspray, or any other hazardous materials voids our service guarantee.
- • Some issues may require services beyond those you ordered. Refusing the services recommended by customer service or your on-site technician may invalidate the service guarantee.
- • Our on-site technician may take photographs and/or videos to document the before and after condition of your vehicle, including the license plate. Preventing the technician from doing so will invalidate our service guarantee.
- • Payment is due at the completion of your service. Refusal or failure to pay for your service invalidates our service guarantee.
- • Filing a credit card dispute/chargeback for billed services invalidates our service guarantee and no refunds or redo appointments will be authorized.
- • Claims must be filed within 48 hours of the completion of the service.
Service Disclaimer & Waiver
Client hereby agrees to the following terms for each service rendered:
- • Client understands and agrees that CarPlay Mobile Detail cannot guarantee the removal of all contaminants or defects, including, but not limited to upholstery stains, oil stains, cracked concrete, siding stains, chipped or loose paint, etc.
- • Client understands that while CarPlay Mobile Detailing will make every effort to protect serviced property from damage, they may use high pressure water, chemicals, and/or other items that can be destructive to property, plant life, animals, and humans.
- • Client releases CarPlay Mobile Detailing from any liability for any damage or incidental, visible, or otherwise, that occurred before, during, or after services are performed on the property.
- • Client understands that services rendered such as pressure washing, chemical spot cleaning, etc., may reveal imperfections in surfaces that were not visible prior to cleaning. Heavy build-ups of mold and dirt may be hiding other problems such as cracks, oil or rust stains, wood rot, flaking or missing paint, etc. In some circumstances, the removal of a stain may not be possible or practical, and replacement of surface or repainting may be necessary.
- • Client understands that the presence/combination of water and high pressure associated with pressure washing present certain risks which can lead to permanent damage(s) to the structure being cleaned as well as other personal property in, under, on, or around the general area of the structure being cleaned.
- • Client acknowledges and understands that weather conditions are an uncontrolled factor in services rendered. CarPlay Mobile Detailing has every right to decline or reschedule a service if weather conditions may impede the quality of service and/or damage property. Such conditions may be extreme temperatures (freezing, high heat, etc.), high winds, precipitation, lightning, etc.
- • Client certifies that they are the legal and/or registered owner of the property serviced and has full permission from the parcel owner to have services performed on scheduled location.
- • Client agrees that CarPlay Mobile Detailing shall not be held responsible for any personal belongings left in vehicles or on property.
- • Client understands and assumes these risks and waives and releases CarPlay Mobile Detailing from and against any and all claims.
Indemnification
CLIENT AGREES TO AND SHALL FULLY INDEMNIFY, HOLD HARMLESS, AND DEFEND CARPLAY MOBILE DETAILING, ITS OWNERS, AGENTS, AND EMPLOYEES, FROM AND AGAINST ANY AND ALL CLAIMS, DEMANDS, ACTIONS, SUITS, DAMAGES, LIABILITIES, LOSSES, SETTLEMENTS, JUDGMENTS, COSTS AND EXPENSES (INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO ATTORNEY'S FEES AND COSTS), ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION TO SERVICES PERFORMED UNDER THIS AGREEMENT, WHETHER OR NOT CAUSED IN PART OR IN WHOLE BY THE NEGLIGENCE OF CARPLAY MOBILE DETAILING, ITS OWNERS, AGENTS OR EMPLOYEES, OR FORCE MAJEURE.
If any section of this agreement is deemed unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, all other sections of this agreement remain in full force and effect.
